I have been going to Granite View for a few years. My dental hygienist has been so amazing to me over the years. Recently I had an emergency with a cracked tooth and needed a root canal. Dr Ellingson was able to get me in for an appointment the next day. They sent me home with all the paperwork to read through the procedure and the tools they use, as well as a clear explanation of what my insurance pays, and what I would be responsible for. Dr Ellingson talked me through each step he was taking during the procedure, and it turned out great. 5 Stars, and very transparent with the financial part (not sure why the other reviews say otherwise).

I went to Dr. Ellingson for emergency dental services. The office staff was very friendly, professional and got me in quickly. He diagnosed my problem and gave me several options for treatment. I did end up choosing to seek treatment in my home state, but Dr Ellingson gave me prescriptions for my tooth abscess and pain as well as good instructions for travel etc. The office staff communicated with my home dentist and all is well. The office is super nice, easy parking and quick to respond. If I lived in Utah, Dr Ellingson would be our family dentist. I highly recommend him. Granite View Dental is a 5 star practice!!

I was told by another dentist that I will not be able to have my root canal without being under anesthesia. I was in the worst pain of my life for three days running on no food or sleep. I decided to call Granite view dental to get a second opinion. The staff was so nice and understanding to get me in within a few hours of my call. Dr Ellinson examined my tooth and was able to complete the root canal without any anesthesia. I felt little to no pain during the treatment. They are very nice here and thorough with their cleanings, if all you are doing is getting a check-up every 6 months you can't go wrong here. Be careful about procedures over and above just general stuff like cleanings or a cavity. Always get a 2nd opinion these guys can get pricey fast.

Happy with my dental experience. Dr. Ellison is professional and friendly, and explained various treatment options for condition. Staff is kind and helpful. Wait times are minimal- nothing of which to speak. We pay out of pocket, and the cost ended up being less than the initial estimate given, even after upgrading the crown material. I also appreciated we were given an estimate up front, and the self pay package offering a discount with its purchase.

I am so glad I found Dr Ellingson at Granite View Dental! The last time I went to the dentist was pre-covid and that dentist game me a treatment plan with 4 teeth needing treatment. I have never had that many cavities, so I wanted a second opinion. Due to covid l, it was 2 years later that I got that second opinion. Dr Ellington explained the treatment plan I received was all cosmetic (which the other dentist didn’t) and unnecessary. I am thrilled I found Dr Ellington! I am 45 years old, and the thought of going to the dentist used to cause me severe anxiety, just from my past experiences with terrible dentists. The thought of hearing the dentist drill sent chills down my spine. My aunt recommended Dr. Ellingson, and I made an appointment when I was having some tooth pain. He and his staff are absolutely amazing! The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. They are upfront about costs and are always professional. Everyone here is fantastic. Gina has been cleaning my teeth for almost 15 years now and she does an exceptional job. She is always so friendly and happy to see you and makes each visit personal. Dr. Ellingson is great as well. When you only see somone every six months, it is hard to remember much about them, but he does a great job at remembering who you are and always greats you with a big smile and friendly attitude. He does excellent work and makes the experience great.

You know you’re not wasting a ton of money on their expensive office. They’re just getting your teeth done right. We moved our whole family over to their office I’m glad we did. Where do I begin? I have had a lot of bad dentists in the past few years, who instead of helping have made my teeth even worse. Recently, my family moved to Utah from Los Angeles. I recently discovered granite view dental. I went in after not getting my teeth cleaned for about 7 years because of my severe dentist anxiety. I found out that I needed a root canal on one of my teeth I had never even had a cavity so my aniexty was through the roof. I had my root canal done today. Sylvia was the assistant at my side and helped me feel so comfortable. They numbed me up and I didn't feel a thing! I was so impressed! I ended up not needed a crown on my front tooth. The dentist told me he could clean it out and bleach the inside of the tooth- this saved me hundreds of dollars in lab fees and the crown cost. They kept my anxiety down, managed my pain and saved me money. I have found my permanent dentist!

We moved here from out of state last year, and one of the worst parts of moving is finding a new family dentist! We feel SO fortunate to have found Granite View Dental. My husband and I, and our 3 children, have had regular cleanings at this office, as well as several "dental emergencies" (root canals, new crowns, and a child needing his tooth pulled). Dr. Ellingson and staff are very caring and prompt and the results were great. I had a long bridge redone in the front of my mouth, so it was very important that it look good. First, I was amazed that the entire process took only 2 visits. Second, the amount of discomfort was minimal - especially since it involved a total of 9 teeth. Finally, the results were better than I had imagined. I am very pleased with this work and I definitely recommend Granite View Dental. I also have my teeth cleaned regularly and the dental hygienist at Granite View Dental is first rate.

The office staff is courteous, efficent, and cooperative. There is an overall vibe of friendliness toward patients and each other as they perform their work. My family moved from Ohio two years ago. It is wonderful to see one dentist for all of my family's dental needs. My Ohio dentist neglected or overlooked a couple of major dental needs that nearly cost me several teeth. Dr. Ellingson corrected these problems. I have no doubt that my family is now receiving the very best dental care and gladly recommend this practice. Recently, my two sons and I needed work done (sealants, filling repair, and new filling). When scheduling the appointments, they assured me our work would take one hour so we could make a soccer game. When we arrived five minutes early, the staff was ready for all three of us and we were on our way in 30 minutes! This busy mom and teacher really appreciates a business who respects my time and energy.

Granite View Dental is a very professional and comfortable place. Right as you walk in the door, everyone is smiling and making you feel welcome! I have never been so excited to go to the dentist. Dr. Ellingson is very honest and conservitive in all his treatment planning. He is more focused on my dental needs, rather than whats in my wallet, than any other dentist I have been to. The Hygenist is amazing! You leave feeling like you have the most sparkly smile, and it wasn't even a little uncomfortable with her technique. Nice office, nice people. The hygienist is so good! She's gentle, thorough, nice and makes it feel good to have my teeth cleaned. I can never believe how good they look! Dr. Ellingson is gentle and patient and very good. Receptionists are very organized and nice too!
